After 20 unforgettable years in this Scout group including 4 years serving as Group Chief I look back with pride, gratitude, and love for the journey we shared.
Together, with an incredible team especially those 10 dedicated individuals (you know who you are) we brought this group into a new era. We expanded our family to include two thriving meutes, a strong troupe, and a powerful clan. We didn't just grow in numbers we grew in spirit, unity, and purpose.
One of our proudest achievements was organizing the longest rally paper across Lebanon, covering over 440 km a true testament to our ambition and teamwork. We made sure our group had everything it needed: tents, wood, gear not just tools, but the foundation for building experiences that shaped us.
We also took part in unforgettable events, like the Good Will Games organized by Saint Joseph Group. From our very first participation, we brought home a trophy but more importantly, we brought home pride.
These are just a small example of what we accomplished together.
Most of all, we worked on planting seeds raising future generations to become men of values, leaders who know right from wrong, and who stand strong in their communities.
This Scout group is more than just a place it's a legacy. And while my chapter as Group Chief may have ended, my heart remains forever tied to the neckerchief, the memories, and the mission.
To all who continue the journey keep building, keep believing, and keep leading.
In brotherhood and service,
Chef Elie Azzam
